BOL CHAAL Perspective
The cases are being heartbreaking-young kids, newlyweds, whole villages in chaos. The cases are beyond the numbers now; real lives, real families are disentangled.
It cannot simply go as a weather calamity-a wake-up call for mankind.
Bol-Chaal agrees the time has come when:
There should be more compassion instead of sympathy
Climate change has to be taken seriously- really, not just on paper
Everyone needs to get involved; Government, Civil Society, as well as we common folk, must prepare for disasters better
The truth is, if we had adequate preparation, some of these lives could have been saved. It is time to rethink, rebuild, and prepare. A Life Matters.
